Major TV news outlets, including FOX News Media, ABC News, CBS News, CNN and NBC News, are suspending their White House pool coverage after President Trump banned CNN, MS NOW and Politico, accusing the outlets of publishing "fake news." The five pool members said the public has a "vital interest" in receiving accurate, independent information about its government and that "no administration should restrict a news organization because it objects to its reporting." The move comes after CNN, MS NOW and Politico announced they are suing the administration, arguing the White House revoked their journalists' credentials "without notice or process" because it objected to their reporting.
