How to warm up new TikTok accounts

First of all, warming up a TikTok account may or may not be necessary. Sometimes you can create a new account, start posting and get loads of views on your content immediately. Try it again a week later and instead of getting loads of views you get shadowbanned and your content gets no views at all. No one knows exactly how TikTok's algorithm works, but in this guide I'll share some tips on how to warm up your TikTok account to avoid getting shadow banned or going to TikTok jail.

Step 1: Set up your profile (day 0)

Section titled: Step 1: Set up your profile (day 0)

The first step is to set up your profile so you look like a real person. Upload a profile picture, preferably an actual person's face, and write a bio that includes keywords related to your niche. If you have a list of accounts in your niche, follow 20-30 of them.

Step 2: Start engaging with content (day 1-3)

Section titled: Step 2: Start engaging with content (day 1-3)

Find other creators in your niche (use your list or simply search for them) and start engaging with their content. Like their posts, leave genuine comments and bookmark posts that you find interesting (very useful as inspiration for your own content as well). You only have to spend 15 minutes a day doing this, so it's not too time consuming. Basically you want to show TikTok that you're a real person and not a bot, so avoid doing anything that could be seen as spammy.

Step 3: Start posting content (day 4 onwards)

Section titled: Step 3: Start posting content (day 4 onwards)

Now that you've set up your profile and engaged with other creators, it's time to start posting your own content. Start with 1 post per day for the first week, then increase to 2 posts per day for the second week if you want to. The goal is to gradually increase your posting frequency over time. Make sure your content is high quality and relevant to your niche. Avoid posting anything that could be seen as spammy or low quality.

If you are using a service like Autovirality to post your content, then it's best to send your posts to your drafts first, then manually post them from your phone. Avoid opening the app and then posting the content immediately, as this could be seen as spammy behaviour. Instead, open the app, scroll through your feed for a few minutes, then post your content.
